A brief run down on known Outsider Ships and their tactics
Compiled by Seras y Alta to the First Order Ministry of War
Fighter/Bomber craft
Manticore - 'A' Variant: Twin linked dual Gamma ray laser
'B' Variant: Single Plasma Autocannon
Armored fighter craft. High acceleration profile. 'A' variants seemingly obsoleted by 'B' configuration.
10x2x3m
Tactics: Outsider patrol/recon/space fighter platform. 'A' variants rarely seen anymore, but are relatively harmless save for self-destruct. 'B' variants pack a powerful high rate of fire plasma autocannon, capable of rapidly crippling shielded systems from electrical arcing. While unshielded, the armor provides a thick hide to chew through first, and owing to the thermal dissipation patterns laser weapons are less effective. Manticore's provide cover from enemy fighters and bombers, and can in a pinch act as powerful warheads on par with high yield Imperial weapons by detonating their anti-matter fuel reserves.
Recommend: Engage with missiles or proton torpedoes at close range.
Basilisk - Primary: Two torpedo tubes with High yield thermonuclear torpedoes, 2x4 count; Secondary: Gamma laser point defense turret
Unshielded, heavily armored bomber craft. Above average acceleration profile. Strike bomber.
12x4x5m
Tactics: Basilisk bombers remained rarely seen outside of strategic points of interest to the Outsiders. Like Manticores, they are deployed en masse from the Roc-class carriers, at a roughly 1:4 ratio to the fighter craft. Basilisk bombers maintain a higher manueverability over TIE bombers, matching or even exceding Rebel B-Wings. Nuclear weapons have proven effective against sub-capital class ships, and when dialed for maximum EMP can even swiftly tear down capital class shielding.
Recommend: Interceptor craft primary target. Failing that, prioritize point defense systems against incoming torpedoes. Frontal and rear armor much more resilient than sides, come at the bombers from port or starboard for maximum effectiveness.

Corvette Class
Lillith - Primary: Three banks of twinned plasma carronades. Two fore mounted missile launchers with anti-fighter fragmentation burst missiles, 2x16 count; Secondary: Eight banks of plasma autocannons on point defense high speed turret mounts.
125x10mx30m
Tactics: Unseen prior to Mondress invasion, Lilliths were not present for the battle but instead were part of a minor raid on an Imperial refueling depot nearby. Lilliths are primarily anti-fighter/bomber platforms, and have a speed to match. They have a thin, knife like profile that they maintain towards larger capital ships while providing aggressive close in fighter suppression.
Recommend: Lilliths will withdraw when preseed by larger vessels. Keep fighter screens protected with cruiser or larger vessels.
Astaroth - Primary: Two heavy plasma cannons, spinal mounted; Secondary: Six plasma autocannons, PD mounts
180x40x75m
Tactics - For punching above their weight, Astaroth corvettes are not to be underestimated. The whole ship appears to have been built solely around the pair of plasma cannons, which along with heavy frontal armor and powerful engines, allowed a pack of 4 Astaroths to bear down and take out an Imperial Broadside-class cruiser with only partial combat ineffectiveness inflicted on two of the Astaroths.
Recommend: While able to shrug off an immense amount of fire from fore, Astaroths are vulnerable along their engine assemblies in the rear. Their speed, small size and manueverability however makes it a difficult task for anything but other corvette classes and bombers to exploit.
Lammasu - Primary: Two banks of twinned plasma carronades; Secondary: Eight plasma autocannon PD mounted; Special: Refueling and rearming racks for Basilisk bombers
190x45x40m
Tactics: Lammasu were spotted briefly during the Battle of Mondress towards the end providing refueling and rearming opportunities for the Basilisk bombers. Weapon loads appear to be light, the ship is more of an armed tender than anything else.
Recommend: If possible take these out, but Outsider doctrines tend to keep these ships out of sight until needed and then still far behind the enemy position.

Frigate Class
Belial - Primary: Ten banks of twin linked plasma carronades; Secondary: Ten banks of twin linked plasma autocannons PD mounted
225x80x80m
Tactics: Their role within Outsider doctrine is as of yet unknown. Only seen once in the tail end on the Mondress fuel depot raid.
Recommend: Unknown.

Cruiser Class
Azrael - Primary: Twenty four banks of triple linked plasma carronades. Eight torpedo tubes with at least sixty two high yield thermonuclear torpedos. Secondary: Twelve banks of twin linked plasma autocannons PD mounted;
800x400x200m
Tactics: Bruisers within the Outsider fleet, Azrael designated platforms work to worm away at the edges of enemy fleets. With their high speed engines and heavy plating they are able to close the gap regardless of conditions and pick apart even Star Destroyer class ships within a few minutes of focused fire. The exposed command tower of Imperial designs is a particular favorite of Azrael fire.
Recommend: Maintaining a strong, cohesive front, avoid formations with 'open' wings. Maintain a secondary, or preferably a primary command point deeper within the ship to avoid decapitation strikes.

Battleship Class
Roc - Primary: None; Secondary: Six banks of twin linked plasma autocannons PD mounted; Special: Fighter racks with 64 Basilisk bombers and 192 Manticore fighters
1200x120mx400m
Tactics: Kept out of the fighters, Roc-class carriers stay at the extreme edges of engagements. What they lack in onboard armaments they make up for in sheer volume of fighter craft. A single Roc carries more fighter craft than any ship shy of a Super Star Destroyer and as such by the time it's engaged in the fight it's done the vast majority of it's work alread.
Recommend: Lightly armed, armored if you can get to one they are relatively easy to dispatch as the ship is little more than a skeletal frame with some token point defense, engines and the quick launching racks.
Cain - Primary: One spinal mounted heavy neutral particle beam. Three fore mounted kinetic artillery with unknown quantity of antimatter shells. Twelve twin linked plasma carronades. Secondary: Forty banks of twin linked plasma autocannons PD mounted;
1500x600x300m
Tactics: Cain class battleships are, much like the smaller Astaroths, primarily built around a single powerful spinal mounted weapon. In this case, a powerful relativistic particle cannon. Fire time cycles can last for up to ten seconds, allowing the beam to punch through shields, armor and out through the other side of the hull in a single firing cycle. Additionally, the beam has an extreme range, maintaining precision up to 1000km distant. Closer in, the kinetic mass drivers along the hull propel antimatter warheads at significant speeds as an apparent counter to enemy capital ships. Without shielding these warheads can devastate even Star Destroyer scale hulls in short order. Cains sport limited shielding capabilities, shields however are weak and vulnerable to massed fire.
Recommend: Close in as fast as possible. Do not let the Cain choose it's engagement range because it will always be 'further than you'. The kinetic launchers are dangerous, there is no easy missile trail to lock on for point defense work and they move too fast for interceptors. Keep the lead formation shields up by protecting it from other craft.
Update: Imperial Remnant technicians have designed a secondary EM armor shielding system that protects from the worst of the anti-matter launchers damage by trapping the anti-particles away from the hull. While they will still go off, it will be from trapped solar wind particles rather than the hull itself, greatly reducing the damage sustained. At this time the technology has only been rolled out on the Super Star Destroyer Wrathful.
Dreadnought Class
Ahriman - Primary: Spinal Mounted Hyperkinetic Mass Driver; Secondary: 8 casemented Heavy Plasma Cannons, forward-port and forward-starboard 90 degree arcs; 128 Plasma carronades; Tertiary: 512twin linked plasma autocannons PD mounted;
24640x18090x16000m
Tactics: Ahriman class Dreadnoughts continue the Outsider design tradition of building a single ship primarily around one massive spinal mounted weapon. In this case, a hyperkinetic mass driver capable of launching 15 ton shells upwards of 50,000 km/s. Accuracy unknown, but able to hit a Super Star Destroyer at up to 5,000km in range. Tactics following the Battle of Kril'Dor have been to let smaller ships handle shields and then have the Ahriman punch holes through anything unshielded within range. While the damage of a single shot to the Super Star Destroyer Wrathful was negligible, that was due to the firing angle resulting in the shell punching through in the shortest possible distance through some of the least critical components. A frontal shot or a shot through the engine core could prove devastating.
Recommend: Withdraw mission critical capital ships to extreme distances and sortie smaller, more nimble ships to take on an Ahriman. Pray.
